Are you a lucky person? -Anytime you can have an advantage, consider it lucky!

Some people carry a rabbit’s foot, others have a piece of clothing to wear on ‘special days’. And many fly by the seat-of-their-pants waiting for a ‘lucky break’. Can you manipulate the odds to attract luck into your life? Or, can you calculate the odds and find advantage in each situation?

Feng shui is all about the energy. Chi-energy is present in every living creature and everything you can see on this earth. Elaborate. Bringing feng shui and chi-energy into your life becomes a lifestyle; just as you breathe, eat and sleep in controlled environments.

In ancient times, feng shui started as a quest to find a proper burial site for the family. It was all about keeping safe. If the ancestors could rest in the ‘best spot’ they could help guide the living into a prosperous future; survival in a safe environment. Whether to sleep out on the hills or in a mud hut had to be planned ahead of time. The people had to have an advantage over the land, livestock and any enemies. When everything went smoothly, there would be less stress and less anxiety for the whole family and village. Less stress leads to good hunting and fishing grounds, competent decisions and therefore abundance for the whole.  The result: A lifestyle that was functional and profitable.

Feng shui teaches us the ability to find opportunities and then act upon them.

YES, You Can Change Your Luck!

Feng shui is listed and accepted as one of the factors in personal luck. Feng shui can show you how to control or manipulate the energy around you. With that control, you have an advantage! Having more positive and supportive energy, you can have an advantage and increase your luck!

Are some people luckier than the rest of us?

According to Ancient Eastern Philosophy, the answer is yes! There are Factors of Luck in life that can give you a ‘luck advantage’ and one of them is feng shui!

• The first advantage we have relates to when and where we were born. Which timeline in history and when we were placed on the planet sets the tone of how far we can get. Being born in a first world country, with plenty of food, free of war and crime can certainly bring opportunities that others in third world countries cannot imagine.
• Another factor to consider is This is often seen as a random distribution of good and evil. With the origins unknown, karma brought from a past, is often used to explain whatever befalls an individual.
• Another factor is feng shui: A gentle manipulation of the energies of the earth and the properties around us. The philosophy is: if you change the energy in one area, something else has to change in another. It is easier to start with the tangibles in your environment, as the changes you see visually, can validate the changes unseen.

A change can show up in body, mind, spirit and environment. Achieving a balance in one’s life is well a …delicate balance. Not only do we need to balance today, but also tomorrow, as well as the rest of our lives. Energy changes daily, weekly, seasonally. As we grow and learn and pass our teachings onto our next generations, the earth continues to spin and the energy continues its momentum. Maintaining the balance is a delicate task.

• Karma, on a conscious level, encourages people to do good things and avoid evil; it is about reaping what you sow. Through body, mind and speech, karma is in an endless process of change in your life. Good deeds can give you luck in the bank. What goes around does come back around!

• Don’t forget the obvious: you are in charge of your own education and life skills. The more we learn, observe, cope, experience and reflect, the better we can become as a person. Every family wants the next generation to do better than the next. Whether you require another language, a new skill or text book facts, to ‘better oneself’ is the advantage to get ahead in this world. A better, well-rounded person will have an advantage in career, relationships, and attract more opportunities.

The ultimate goal, in this lifetime, would be to leave the earth a better place.
