Is this fan bad feng shui?

Hi Kathryn

Hope all is well.  I have a question.  Is a Fan behind headboard, bad feng shui? Someone gave me a huge beautiful Chinese fan.  It is gold with red flowers and blue birds.  I hung it behind my headboard in my bedroom.  I love the fan. Is it bad FENGSHUI?  I will send pic.  Would like your opinion.  Did you ever figure out a date for visit to NYC?

A: Hi Sandy, thanks for your note: Its GOOD FENG SHUI! The fan is perfect! I’ll tell you why … several things!

The curved circle is the white tiger element: soft, gentle, clarity… perfect for a bedroom. 

Think about the curve of the moon shining down… heavenly… nice choice.

I noticed that your headboard is quite short, this fan will lend support to your subconscious and support your dreams.

• Is your ceiling dropped down in this area? If so, it’s imperative that you have a higher support over your head; the fan helps to correct this too.

Interesting: Let’s look at the colours in this fan:

• It’s good to have a little red (romance) in the master bedroom, but not too much.
• It’s okay to have ‘twos’ of life (birds) which supports a relationship.
• As for a splash of gold; royalty! This fan stretches upwards for a peaceful, safe and prosperous relationship.
