Be Seen & Be Heard

Greetings, my friends!

How are you today!

How has your week been going? For me, between the full moon and the retrograde, and the heat, I know some of my coping skills have been wearing!

I’m finding that I have to do everything 2 or 3 times! I made 3 trips to the bank over 2 days to straighten something out, and then, by a fluke, we found out our property insurance had lapsed! Really?

We didn’t get a notification…  but, Hmm, right…. No one was in the office to send out the reminders! Okay, so what else is going on out there that I don’t know about?

Today, we’ll look at how to be seen and heard!

We need to have a voice to ask questions and see clearly, in order to make sound decisions.

Be seen, be Heard, is the goal!

Did you know that you can Feng Shui your FACE to get people to pay attention to you?

First, to been seen, you have to see! In feng shui, your eyes are windows to the soul. Trim your bangs or tie back your hair. Wash your face with cool water to refresh! Polish your eyeglasses, and greet the day with optimism and trust!

Your eyebrows frame your eyes and draw attention to them. Keep your eyes clean and bright: the more they sparkle the better that intention ‘to SEE’ will follow YOU!

In order to be heard, the feng shui trick is to wear lipstick! Bright red lipstick sure gets you noticed, but we don’t need to look like its overdone! Define your lips with a warm, pleasant colour that looks healthy and feels appropriate! If you use a lip liner, pay attention to define the ‘cupids bow’ at the top of the lip. This area of definition, under your nose, actually reflects your wealth area, so don’t shy away from this trick.

If you are male, you probably don’t use lipstick, and yet, wearing a bright tie will command others to what you have to say! Think about casual Fridays: What are you wearing, who are you talking to? Does the lack-of-tie suggest you aren’t planning to get any work done?

Who are you going to trust? Probably, the person that presents themselves like they own the place!

How does this work? By presenting yourself as the best you can be, which is how you respect others and their services; this will mirror back to you! And, of course, this will also cultivate respect back as they’ll show YOU the best they can be too!

If you set yourself up to be seen and be heard, you’ll find yourself more confident to step into larger shoes. You’ll need to step-up to the challenge of speaking up, asking questions and request better service from (apathetic) service providers from others.

Feng shui isn’t all about gold coins and flower arrangements, it’s about shifting the energy to work in a positive way all around.
