Feng Shui for Healthy Eating

Three Tips that Make Sense!

Feng shui works in many areas of life!

If you are happy, well balanced and in a loving relationship, your body will help to regular your ‘needs’, inside and out!

In this crazy works we live in, there are SO MANY distractions, AD’s and advice everywhere telling us what we SHOULD eat, drink and do!
Let’s release all this confusing energy!

Q: Can Feng Shui help to keep us healthy and fit?

A: Feng shui DOES have tips and ‘cures’ for a healthy life!

There’s a large portion of the population concerned about this topic, particularly weight issues as we age.

Let’s have a quick look at some practical tips.

1.Dishes: Using smaller plates and bowls will automatically ‘fill up’ with smaller portions. A smaller portion equals a smaller YOU! Mentally, you’ll be satisfied….

  1. Creative Messages:
If you have a postcard on the frig of Miss Piggy wearing a tight bathing suit, you’ll probably giggle. If you look at this image when you’re having a not-so-great-day, chances are, you could identify with this as a self-image.
The results may be: you’ll make poor food choices, or not open the frig at all.
Always think positive thoughts and place positive images in your space.
  2. Refrigerator:
‘Refrigerator Feng Shui’ is all about placement. Place ‘healthy food items’ on the main shelf. You’ll see these items first; as soon as you open the door. A smart choice will be right there-in-front for a quick grab, when you need something to tide you over.

I like yoghurt in small containers for a mid afternoon snack.
Or, Hummus and veggies already cut up.

There will be less waste in your refrigerator if you can place your leftovers, pre-prepared meals and ‘items with short expiry dates’ on another main shelf. Keeping healthy foods and prepped items, all front-and-center will help you make healthy choices for the week.

Round up all condiments and items with ‘longer expiry dates’ into another area of the frig. Keep them together in the door of the frig, top right or bottom left are suggested. Keeping things together can avoid buying duplicates.

Smart shopping: Make a list of staples you need and meal plans so that you only shop once a week. The balance needed for your individual body energy will get easier by planning ahead.

Seasonal gatherings can become stressful with all the food options. Stick with the routine regarding your food choices, hydration exercise you’ve been incorporating day to day.

However, make allowances with your meal plans (guilt free) and enjoy the holidays season to the fullest!

Enjoy the reason, for the season, and have a wonderful time reconnecting with your families.
